Does Disneyland hotel charge extra for occupancy in a suite?

Hi, Tina! Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your question. I recently stayed at the Disneyland Hotel, and what a fabulous experience that was. One evening it was a bit chilly at Disneyland Park, so I returned to my resort room early. When I heard the fireworks begin, I opened the drapes and watched the show from the comfort of my cozy room! It doesn't get any more magical than that.

Tina, I spoke to a knowledgeable Cast Member about charges for additional people at the Disneyland Hotel suites. She told me that for resort-only bookings, the first two adults and all children under 18 are included in the base price for the suite. Any additional adults would incur a charge which would vary based on the room rate and dates for the specific booking. And just so you know, the maximum occupancy cannot be exceeded. I did a quick experiment on the website and found that each additional adult would be about $25 in the Junior Suite. Still, please remember that it's just an estimate, and the extra cost will depend on several factors.

During your stay at the resort, I'd recommend booking a reservation at Goofy's Kitchen, located at the Disneyland Hotel. I know children love seeing the characters, but I was with a large group of adults. We had a blast! We also enjoyed ending our theme park days at Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar. The Skipper Sipper was my favorite fun mocktail.

I hope you have a practically perfect visit to Disneyland Resort, Tina! Please feel free to stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
