So is Disneyland having a merriest Xmas party in December 2023

    Ho, ho, ho, Tonya!

A very merry welcome to planDisney to you! You must be excited about your upcoming visit to Disneyland Resort. You have chosen a holly jolly time to visit. So, let’s take a look at some of the ways to celebrate the holidays every day at Disneyland Resort.

In Disneyland Park, you will find the classic A Christmas Fantasy Parade down Main Street, U.S.A. One of the best places to view, in my experience, is near the Matterhorn Bobsleds. Once the parade is over, you can head over to encounter the Abominable Snowman, if you dare. After the sun goes down, the holiday lights go up all over Disneyland Park. Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle is breathtaking, so take a moment to capture a sparkling photo there. Then, head over to "it's a small world" Holiday Lighting! The first time I witnessed this light show, I was overwhelmed by this special event. Don’t forget, every 30 minutes this iconic attraction comes alive with a light projection show throughout the night. And speaking of iconic attractions, you won’t want to miss the Haunted Mansion Holiday. You will be amazed by how this attraction is transformed this time of year! Of course, you will want to make plans to view “Believe…In Holiday Magic” fireworks to round out your Christmas-time visit.

Over in Disney California Adventure Park, the Disney Festival of Holidays is a wonder-filled celebration of traditional music and cuisine of a variety of cultures. After dark, the World of Color – Season of Light offers an amazing display of water, fireworks, and scenes from your favorite Disney and Pixar films. It will tug at your heartstrings for sure. My friends and I especially love snowflakes in this show but I don’t want to spoil the surprise so be on the lookout for them! You won’t want to miss the Christmas spirit in Cars Land. Many of the attractions feature jolly holiday overlays. You will be humming holiday tunes for the rest of the evening!

Tonya, all of these events are included in your theme park admission! Remember, all fireworks and other events are dependent on weather and other conditions and may be canceled or changed without notice. Check the Disneyland mobile app for updates and schedules.

I hope this has given you a look into some of the festivities you can experience at Disneyland Resort this holiday season. Please let us know if you have other questions as you plan.

    Wishing you very merry memories,
    Shannon
