Welcome to planDisney Jennifer! How exciting that you'll be taking your first trip to the "Happiest Place on Earth" this summer!
You are in fantastic shape if you've already booked your hotel, theme park tickets, and theme park reservations. If you booked a
Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Package or a
Good Neighbor Hotel Vacation Package, your theme park tickets will be delivered electronically to your MyDisney account 3 days prior to your arrival. You can open up the Disneyland App and navigate to the three horizontal bar line icon in the bottom right-hand corner and then tap "My Tickets & Passes" to view your theme park tickets. If for some reason you are not seeing them 3 days prior to your arrival, I would connect with a helpful Cast Member on the
Ticket Services Line.
You can definitely connect a
MagicBand+ to the Disneyland App, but MagicBand and MagicBand 2 are not supported at the Disneyland Resort and cannot be linked to the app. You can follow
these steps to link your husband's MagicBand+ to your app as well. I love that I do not have to use my mobile phone each time to scan Lightning Lane passes, or to scan into the parks that morning, it also helps save some phone battery throughout the day!
I highly recommend to stop by City Hall in Disneyland Park or Guest Services at Disney California Adventure Park to receive your complimentary "First Visit" buttons that you can wear during your trip, and keep as a fun souvenir to commemorate the vacation. I also recommend taking a family photo in front of an iconic location within the Disneyland Resort, some of our favorites include in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle or in front of "it's a small world" in Disneyland Park, or along Route 66 in Cars Land in Disney California Adventure Park.
I hope you and your family make magical memories that will last a lifetime, Jennifer! If you think of any other questions we can help with before your trip,
please come back to planDisney and ask!
Have a magical day,
Melissa
