Welcome to planDisney, Candace! I think you've come to the right place because we LOVE answering Guests' questions just like the one you've shared with us here.
I have a few recommendations if you're looking for a good place to start planning a future Disneyland Resort vacation. First, you might consider browsing the options for a Disneyland Resort Vacation Package which allows you to book your multi-day theme park tickets, your stay in a Disneyland Resort hotel or a Good Neighbor Hotel property nearby, as well as a few magical extras. It's really nice to have all these planning logistics secured in the same transaction, and you can even confirm your reservations with an initial down payment and then make additional payments in whatever amount and at whatever time works best for you until the final balance is due 30 days prior to your visit. You can also call the Vacation Packages line to speak with a Cast Member if you have specific questions about this process. You might also find the services of an authorized Disney Vacation Planner to be helpful, especially if this is a first visit to Disneyland Resort. These travel agencies or agents have been verified by Disney to meet certain standards of excellence and have specialized knowledge about Disney Destinations. You'll be able to know that a travel agent is an authorized Disney Vacation Planner because their website will display an "Ear-Marked" status, and they'll also have the logo of a Mickey ear hat. Typically, searching the web for the phrase 'Authorized Disney Vacation Planner' will yield a number of results and you can decide on the agent or agency that feels right to you! Finally, Candace, I'd love to welcome you back to planDisney if there are other specific questions about your upcoming Disneyland Resort vacation that we can help answer. From how to secure your theme park reservations, to making recommendations on top dining locations, to the best attractions for your travel party, we'd love to share our personal advice and helpful tips for navigating your next visit to 'The Happiest Place on Earth!' In fact, my friend and fellow panelist Al C. and I recently shared our thoughts on top tips for Disneyland Resort Guests on a recent episode of the planDisney podcast! I'll link it below in case it proves helpful to you as you continue making your plans. In the meantime, I'm wishing you joy and light as we head into the new year. Magic awaits!-Tishra
