Will Disneyland up its capacity after June 15? Fully open or to what percentage?

Hello there, Michelle! Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and allowing us to help you plan your visit to Disneyland Resort!

It’s an extra magical time because Disneyland Resort is reopening to the public! At this time, Disneyland Resort is continuing its phased reopening process. This means that Guests can return to all of the magic they love while also prioritizing safety and health! During your upcoming visit, you may notice changes such as enhanced cleaning procedures across the property, temporary adjustments to promote physical distancing, and modified experiences to reduce contact. All Guests ages two and up will also be required to wear a face-covering throughout their visit except when actively eating or drinking.

Guests will also need a reservation before entering either Disneyland Resort theme park! Reservations may not be made at the same time you purchase your theme park tickets. It is also recommended that you check the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar online prior to booking your stay. This way, you can verify availability for your anticipated travel dates!

Beginning June 15th, 2021, non-residents of California will also be able to experience the magic at Disneyland Resort theme parks! However, there has been no official announcement regarding changes to theme park capacity at this time. If you are interested in keeping track of this, though, I would recommend checking out the Disney Parks Blog website or the “Theme Parks: Know Before You Go” webpage! Both of these resources have the most up-to-date information regarding health and safety in the theme parks.

Best of luck as you continue to plan your trip to Disneyland Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions along the way!
