Going to Disneyland California,4yr old, 21mth old &a 7mth old and 2 adults. Will each child under 7 need a separate adult to ride when there isn’t a height restriction or can 1 adult ride with 2 children, on dumbo for example?

    Hi Lucy!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so excited for you to visit the Happiest Place on Earth with your three little ones, they are going to have the best time ever!

You are absolutely correct that the Disneyland Resort Park Rules state that for a mouseketeer to board an attraction under the age of 7, they must board with someone 14 years of age or older. The great news is that the vast majority of attractions you'll be taking your kiddos on will allow more than two per load. You are able to seat three people as long as one in the party is a child under the age of seven. For example, we just got back from a recent trip and myself, my husband and my two year old were all able to soar together on Dumbo the Flying Elephant! Going through the full list of attractions, I honestly can't think of a single one that does not have a height requirement that this would be an issue. You may find that Cast Members will likely instruct you on the safest way to board, for example on Dumbo the Flying Elephant, you'd likely put your 4 year old on the inside of the ride vehicle and one of the wee ones on your lap.

I hope this helps in planning your upcoming visit. Please come back if we can help in any other way!
