    The Disneyland app and website constantly give me errors when trying to make a dinner reservation. Is there another way I can do this?

    Welcome to planDisney! As a fellow Guest with an upcoming Disneyland Resort visit, I too had quite a bit of difficulty making dining reservations. With COVID-19 precautions and limited seating, and upcoming holidays, making a dining reservation is more difficult than it has been in the past.

    I’m sorry you are having struggles with booking. Currently, there is not a dining line available to call and make reservations over the phone, but I do have a few tips for you. I just checked, and I do see reservations available for December 4th, so I would try again today to see if you can snag a reservation.

    First, know that Disneyland Resort’s dining reservations open “up to” 60 days in advance. While I wish that meant they would be open at the 60-day mark, it means the earliest they will be available is 60 days. Currently, Disneyland Resort dining reservations are being released in batches. I was unable to make reservations for my Thanksgiving trip until the 44-day mark. So, it could have initially been that there were no reservations released for your dates, which is why your search gave you zero results.

    If you are still having difficulty, make sure you are using the most up-to-date version of the Disneyland Mobile App. Updates occur frequently, and this could be why the app wouldn’t show you available reservations. It was updated about a month ago. If you are on the desktop and visiting Disney website regularly, it seems that the “cookies” (whatever those are, I’m a nurse, not a computer gal!) build-up, and the webpages have trouble loading. I get a lot of pages that don’t load at all, or I am greeted by Stitch who has allegedly caused a glitch on my page. Try opening a “new private window” on an Apple system, or go to “incognito mode” on a pc. This always fixes the issue of glitchy pages for me. Since I use Disney webpages daily to help other Guests with their questions here on planDisney, I always have to use the new private window to access the pages I need.
