Is Disneyland Anaheim doing anything special for birthdays? We will be attending on my daughter’s 8th birthday. Thanks.

Hello there, Eleanor! Welcome to planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to stop by and allowing us to help you plan your visit to Disneyland Resort!

Happiest birthday to your daughter from all of us here at planDisney! The best way to celebrate any occasion is with a visit to Disneyland Resort! From graduations all the way to Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings, there is a magical way to celebrate your special someone during a visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth”!

One of the best ways to celebrate a birthday at Disneyland Resort is actually completely free! Guests that are visiting for their birthday can receive a complimentary birthday button at City Hall in Mainstreet, U.S.A in Disneyland Park, or at Guest Services in Disney California Adventure Park. While wearing these buttons, Guests receive all of the birthday greetings from Cast Members and even other Guests at times! It is such an amazing way to make the birthday person feel as special as possible!

You may also make a reservation at a dining location and, upon arrival, let a Cast Member know that you will be celebrating your daughter’s birthday! This is a fun way to relax after some fun in the parks and maybe even have a birthday song sung just for your daughter! You can also purchase a Disney Gift Card for your daughter to use throughout your visit as a gift. I love this idea for children since it gives them the ability to choose their own items and spend their money exactly how they would like!

I hope this has given you a few ideas for celebrating your daughter’s special day at Disneyland Resort! Please let us know if we can assist with planning in any other way!
