For Disneyland, when accommodation goes on sale for the new year (2025 in this case), is there usually a promo sale on nightly rates or anything?

    Hi, Janet!

Thank you for reaching out to planDisney. I can understand your interest in Disneyland Resort promotions because I am always on the lookout for a good deal. Saving money while visiting "The Happiest Place on Earth" always makes my heart (and wallet) happy!

It is difficult to predict future promotions. I usually make my hotel reservations as soon as they become available, and then keep an eye on the Disneyland website and Disney Parks Blog for any offers or discounts that might apply to my trip. In the past, I have been able to call the "Vacation Packages" line to ask if a promotion can be added to my reservation. Some offers have limited availability, and I recommend having your travel agent call as soon as a new deal is released. You could also consider canceling a reservation if a new offer becomes available. Just make sure your preferred dates are available and check the cancellation policies for your existing reservation to ensure you do not incur a cancellation fee.

My family loves all of the hotels at Disneyland Resort! Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa has beautiful, Craftsman-style decor and is the closest hotel to the theme parks. Disneyland Hotel has nostalgic photos throughout the hotel, and my kids love the Monorail-themed waterslides. Pixar Place Hotel is the ideal spot for fans of Pixar movies! There are no wrong choices!

Once you have your hotel booked, I suggest making a list of the activities and experiences that are the top priority for your family. The World of Color Dessert Party, Fantasmic! Dining Packages, and Character Dining are some of my family's preferred experiences. Dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance by contacting your local travel agent. Lamplight Lounge, Blue Bayou Restaurant, and Storytellers Cafe are a few of my favorite restaurants. Did you know that Blue Bayou Restaurant is also part of a Fantasmic! Dining Package? Eating a delicious meal and then watching Fantasmic! from the preferred viewing area is such a fun experience!

Janet, I hope you decide to visit Disneyland Resort next year. Please contact planDisney again if you have additional questions!
