Going to be in Disney for xmas w/ my 5 yr old daughter.Debating Cinderallas Royal table or 1900 Park Fare(my daughter likes the princes too) Ariel is her favorite-is she always at Akershus? Thank you

    Tanya,

So at Cinderella's Royal Table we have ALWAYS seen Ariel. We have not seen her at 1900 Park Fare ever, but I expect you knew that.

As for Akershus, she has been there every time as well, though they do mix it up with the princesses a bit more than at other Princess meals. I think it is a safe bet she will be there, but if you are going with that express purpose, then Cinderella's Royal Table is a safer bet.

Now as to your question of Cinderella's Royal Table vs. 1900 Park Fare, I have some thoughts.

Cinderella's Royal Table is an iconic setting, and the food has gotten better. Dinner is far better than breakfast, but both are fine. The princess visitors is a set list, for the most part, so you know what you are getting.

1900 Park Fare is a under-appreciated location, with food quality that is pretty good for a buffet. It is a noisy location, with lots of activity, but the experience is not bad at all. The unique character sets at breakfast and dinner make for some nice changes to the typical. Some personal favorites include the wicked stepsisters at dinner, and Mary Poppins at breakfast.

BOTTOM LINE #1: If the most important thing is to see Ariel, go to Cinderella's Royal Table.

BOTTOM LINE #2: If you want to meet princesses, and budget is a concern, go to Akershus

BOTTOM LINE #3: If you want to see all the Cinderella-related characters, and budget is a concern, go to 1900 Park Fare for dinner.

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
