Happy Unbirthday to you, Hazel! Your niece is super lucky to have "
a friend in [you]," and I think that there is no better place to celebrate a birthday than at the most Magical Place on EARth. Depending on what she loves, there are so many fantastic options, so let's layout a few!
If she's anything like my oldest, she is more of youngling than
princess, so I would head to
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge for a meal that is out of this world! You can go sophisticated and eat at
Oga's Cantina, where she can enjoy small bites while you enjoy an adult beverage, or you can indulge in intergalactic food in a hangar bay at
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo.
For an equally "out of this world" experience, head to Epcot where a brand-new space-themed restaurant opens at the end of the yEAR!
Space 220 offers spectacular views of EARth from 220 miles up. She will feel like a VIP when she boards a special elevator that will take her to her thrilling dining experience!
Epcot is also my favorite place for "earthly" delights, and for a special birthday meal, I would choose either
Le Cellier Steakhouse or
Monsieur Paul. Both of these signature restaurants offer delicious food and gorgeous settings - perfect for a
15th birthday celebration!
Finally, for the ultimate "fun" meal, take her to
Jaleo by José Andrés at Disney Springs!
Celebrity chef José Andrés recently opened the tapas restaurant, and it is both delicious and entertaining! She can watch the chefs make paella (classic Spanish rice dish) from the open kitchen, or you all can have a blast playing foosball at your glass-topped table! My teenagers requested Jaleo by José Andrés for Christmas dinner, so we are headed there for our Christmas celebration, and I can't think of a better place for
a teenage birthday!
Hazel, I hope these suggestions help you plan a birthday that is practically perfect in every way. chEARs!
