How exciting to be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in December! My family loves Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. I am happy to report you will only need to purchase the special event ticket in order to attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. You will not need to purchase a regular theme park ticket in addition to the special event ticket in order to enter the park at 4:00 p.m. or after on the day of the party. When previously attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, my family has always entered Magic Kingdom Park right at 4:00 p.m., and we have only needed our special event ticket to gain park entry.
