Hey there, hi there, ho there! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney, M! I love celebrating birthdays at Walt Disney World Resort, and I can see you are planning the ultimate party!
A
fireworks cruise is a dazzling way to recognize the birthday guys or gals! For a truly indulgent experience, guests used to be able to rent the Grand 1, a 52-foot Yacht that held up to 18 people; unfortunately, it's not currently available for booking, but it may be by the time of your trip. At this time, your only option would be a 25-foot boat that holds up to 10 people, so you'll need to reserve two. Call Enchanting Extras at (407) 939-7529 up to 60 days in advance.
Hanging out with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald at
Chef Mickey's...it doesn't get much better than that! We've eaten here many times, and it's the best way to see the most popular characters with your large group in tow, complete with twirling napkins and blaring music. My honorable mention pick would be breakfast with the Fab 5 in their safari gear at
Tusker House Restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. My family enjoyed the African-inspired flavors, but there are also kid-friendly options. And one final suggestion (that is not a character meal) is the
Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue which is a terrific option for large groups! The food is all-you-care-to-enjoy, there are big tables, and you get a show, too.
I spoke with Guest Services, and they said you are welcome to bring your own cake to any Walt Disney World dining location. If you order from
Amorette's Patisserie in Disney Springs, you will have to pick it up yourself as it cannot be delivered, but these cakes are definitely worth the extra effort! To order, call (407) 934-3500 at least 48 hours in advance. Also, many restaurants offer the option of pre-ordering a delectable
Mickey Mouse celebration cake when you book your dining reservation online or through the
My Disney Experience app.
I hope you make magical birthday memories, M! See ya real soon!
