    We will be in Disney World the week after Christmas, arriving on the 27th. What will the parade be in Magic Kingdom that week? Will it be Festival of Fantasy or a Christmas parade?

    Hi Katie!  Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    The Holiday Season is my favorite time to visit Walt Disney World Resort.  The decorations are breathtaking!  It seems every inch of the Theme Parks and Resort Hotels have been decorated.  It is such a fun, festive atmosphere!  I am always awed by the incredible detail, and how the decorations are themed to each particular area.

    The Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is normally exclusive entertainment performed during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.  While the entertainment schedule for late December 2019 is not yet available, I can tell you that in years past, the Once Upon A Christmastime Parade has been performed daily in Magic Kingdom Park after the last date of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (this year the last party is on December 22) through December 31.  If your stay extends into the new year, you should also be able to see the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade.

    During your visit, be sure to take advantage of all the other holiday happenings.  My absolute favorite holiday event is the Candlelight Processional held in America Gardens Theater at Epcot.  This beautiful show features incredible music with a celebrity narrator retelling the story of the very first Christmas.  I am getting goose bumps now just thinking about it!  For guaranteed seating, consider a Candlelight Processional Dining Package.
