    We will be at Disney World 10/19-10/26/2012. We'd like to attend the "Not so scary Halloween" event. How much are tickets. Is it better to buy them in advance? Do they sell out or can we wait until we arrive? We'd like to attend on Tues, 10/2

    Hi, Cheryl! Yes, it is better to purchase tickets in advance because there is an Advance Purchase discount.  Tickets cost $55.95 for ages 10 and up and $50.95 for ages 3 - 9 when bought ahead of time.  The price if purchased on that day are $62.95 and $57.95 respectively.  So, there is a $7.00 savings per ticket purchased in advance of the party day.  The closer the date is to Halloween, the better the chances are that it will sell out, but even early in October I would not risk the chance of not getting tickets because this is my family's favorite special event!  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
