    Hi, I am going to disney world in two weeks to celebrate my son's birthday. I am trying to get a table at chef Mickey , but there. Are none available , is there any waiting list or something in case that someone cancel? Thank you so much!

    Hi Fernanda! A trip to Walt Disney World is definitely a magical way to celebrate your son's birthday! 

    Chef Mickey's is a fun character meal that's very popular, so it does tend to book up quickly, especially at busy times of year such as the holidays. The restaurant does not have a waiting list, but if you're persistent in checking for reservations, there's a good chance you'll find an opening. Many guests cancel their reservations as their vacations approach and their plans firm up, so keep checking every day at different times a day for available tables. Instead of searching for a certain time, search for "Breakfast" or "Dinner," and be willing to dine at off-peak times. I've often had success getting a table for breakfast at Chef Mickey's by calling the night before from my resort room, so continue checking after you arrive at Walt Disney World if you're not able to find an opening in advance. You can also try walking up to the restaurant -- you're most likely to find a table for breakfast if you arrive before 7 a.m..

    Many other restaurants at Walt Disney World offer a chance to have breakfast with the characters. The Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club Resort, Tusker House at the Animal Kingdom park, Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom and 'Ohana at the Polynesian are all fun alternatives to Chef Mickey's.
