    i have a disney world trip starting this thursday. when will i receive my park tickets?

    Hello Michael!  Welcome back to planDisney.

    Oh boy!  Can you believe your Walt Disney World Resort vacation begins this week?  I'll be happy to assist you so you are all set and ready to enjoy the magic of the 50th Anniversary Celebration.

    Walt Disney World Resort is encouraging digital ticket media.  The default delivery method when purchasing theme park tickets online at disneyworld.com is email.  If you were logged into your My Disney Experience account at the time of purchase, you likely assigned tickets to the Guests in your party during the check-out process.  You should be able to view your tickets by selecting "Tickets & Memory Maker" under "My Plans" on the My Disney Experience website, or by using the menu button on the My Disney Experience mobile app to select "Tickets and Passes".  If not, tickets can be linked to your account using the ticket confirmation number found in your purchase confirmation email.

    To access linked admission for entry into the theme parks, Guests can use a MagicBand, or create a Disney MagicMobile pass in the My Disney Experience app and save it to the digital wallet on their mobile device.  A Disney MagicMobile pass will have much of the same functionality as a MagicBand.  If you prefer to use a plastic ticket card instead, stop by any theme park ticket window or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs.  Bring your ticket confirmation email and a photo ID.

    If you changed the default delivery method when purchasing your tickets to select mail delivery, tickets are sent out approximately 2 weeks after the purchase date.  As long as your tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience account, it is not necessary to have the physical tickets in hand -- you may use a MagicBand or Disney MagicMobile pass for entry.

    As a reminder, theme park entry requires both valid admission and a Disney Park Pass reservation for all Guests ages 3 and up.  If you haven't already, be sure to make your Disney Park Pass reservations as soon as possible.  Availability is limited and can change at any time.
