We're going to Disney World for the 1st time from 5/9/12-5/13/12. I've checked the forecast and seen that it may rain a couple days. Whats the best park to go to on rainy days? Do the rides or parks close if it rains? Thanks!

How exciting that you will be visiting Walt Disney World for the first time in just a few days, Kathryn!  You are going to love all the magic and wonder that a Disney Vacation entails!  I would recommend visiting either Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios on rainy days. Either of these parks would be a good option as they both feature the most inside attractions. If this will be the only day you are visiting either of these parks, then choose Epcot on your rainy day. You don't want to miss Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios and it is held at night in the Hollywood Hills Amphitheatre.  Follow the link provided to learn more about this amazing nighttime spectacular!  Rest assured, the parks will remain open even if it rains during your vacation. I have never known the parks to close for rain, except in the case of a severe storm like a hurricane and it is not currently hurricane season.  Outside attractions would most likely close in the case of lightning for the protection of all guests. I would definitely recommend bringing umbrellas, as well as, ponchos or raincoats from home.  I hope this helps!  Sending pixie-dusted wishes your way for blue skies and beautiful sunshine for your upcoming vacation!  Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you. Best wishes for a Magical First Trip, Kathryn!
    Happy Planning,
