We are going to Disney World for the 1st time, and we would like to have a character dining experience that everyone would enjoy. What would you suggest for 9 and 7 year old girls and a boy who's 5? Thank you!

Because your daughters are older and you have a son, I might steer clear of the princess-themed character meals. I would also avoid the Playhouse Disney Play and Dine meal at Disney's Hollywood Studios as this experience is aimed at preschoolers. Other than that, the choice is really up to you. Think about which characters you children like and also what type of foods they will enjoy. To get a look at the menus for the meals, you can go to allearsnet.com and search for "character meal menus."

Our family particularly likes the Garden Grill character meal at Epcot. Chip and Dale host the proceedings there. The restaurant is on a very slowly revolving turntable so that during your meal you get to see various parts of the Living With The Land ride below you. We also enjoy the Crystal Palace meal with Winnie the Pooh and friends, mostly because of the convenient location in the Magic Kingdom. The classic Disney characters can be found at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary. You will see all ages of kids at this meal.
