Hey there, Mario,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm glad you stopped by with a question for us today.
It sounds like you have a
standard theme park ticket in your possession. The best way to determine any usage restrictions is to link it to your
MyDisney Account online or via the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. I like using the app since I can scan the details on the back of the ticket using my phone's camera. To do so, navigate to the feature menu (≡) at the bottom right of the app and then click the tile for "My Tickets & Passes." You should see a link or a "+" to add your ticket to the account if it doesn't already appear on this screen. You can use your phone's camera to scan the barcode or QR code on your ticket, or manually input the information by clicking "Type ID."
Once linked, you can review the expiration details for your ticket and
make any necessary theme park reservations. Most date-based tickets do not currently require a reservation, but select other types still do. You can check whether your ticket requires them by attempting to make a reservation for the date you plan to visit. If your ticket does not require them it will not appear on the list when assigning a reservation.
If you do not see a barcode or are having trouble linking or confirming your ticket information you can also
contact a Cast Member by phone for assistance. They should also be able to advise of any usage restrictions based on the specific ticket you have and confirm reservation procedures.
A one-day ticket can typically be used at any one of the 4 theme parks, subject to capacity. I love a day at
Magic Kingdom Park, but
EPCOT's seasonal festivals are also great ways to enjoy a magical day. If you need suggestions for maximizing your time in the parks we'd be happy to share our tips.
Mario, if I've misunderstood your question or you need additional help please come back and let us know.
Magic and memories,
Amy
