We will be at Disney world for Thanksgiving this year. We are have trouble finding a restaurant serving Thanksgiving dinner that has space for a party of 4 any suggestions

    Hello there, Robert!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks for bringing us a festive and fun Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question! I'm thrilled to hear you'll be celebrating Thanksgiving Day at The Most Magical Place on Earth. Let's discuss your options for a memorable and filling Thanksgiving dinner at the Walt Disney World Resort!

Robert, there's nothing like celebrating a special occasion or holiday at The Most Magical Place on Earth, which is why Thanksgiving Day is an incredibly popular time to visit. Since Guests can begin making dining reservations up to 60 days in advance, understandably, there are few dining reservations available at this time. Luckily, plans do change and Guests occasionally must cancel their dining reservations, so I recommend continuing to check back periodically for additional availability. At the time of writing, some restaurants do still show availability, however, these don't serve traditional Thanksgiving meals. If you're amenable to a non-traditional dinner, I would highly recommend Chefs de France (EPCOT), Sebastian's Bistro (Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort), Summer House on the Lake (Disney Springs), or Trattoria al Forno (Disney's BoardWalk).

If you're truly craving turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes with gravy, I recommend checking with the Cast Members at the host stand of either The Diamond Horseshoe or Liberty Tree Tavern (both in Magic Kingdom Park) for any same-day availability, Robert. You may even be able to join a virtual waitlist using the mobile dine walk-up feature in the My Disney Experience mobile app. If nothing else, perhaps you could order takeout with mobile food and beverage ordering in the app instead. Steakhouse 71 To Go offers some of my favorite takeout on property, and with mobile ordering, you could enjoy your meal wherever you please! After all, the holidays aren't about the food, right? It's all about being with the people you're dining alongside.

Robert, I hope these suggestions are a helpful start, and I wish you and your travel party a very special visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any additional questions about your upcoming trip, you're always welcome to revisit us here at planDisney! We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth.

    Warm wishes,

    Lauren
