How do I make reservations for dinner for the candlelight procession? Do I just make regular dinner reservations or do I need to do something different?

    Hi Denise!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney!  Like you, I'm planning to enjoy a jolly holiday visit to Walt Disney World Resort this December.  I was excited when all the Candlelight Processional details were released earlier this month, and I can't wait to try and make my own reservation for a dining package in just a few days!

Denise, reservations for a Candlelight Processional Dining Package are booked separately from regular dining reservations at included restaurants.  When dining package reservations become available on October 29, 2024, you can search for your preferred date to check availability at each restaurant.  You can search for dining reservations like you do for any other restaurant, but want to make sure you select "Candlelight Processional Dining Package" to ensure that you are not only going to be able to enjoy a fabulous meal but also that reserved seating for the Candlelight Processional.  Historically, these dining packages are incredibly popular, so I suggest being ready to book when they go live at 6:00 AM on October 29 for your best chance at getting your top choices - I know I'll be online that morning!  As a reminder, you can search for and make these dining package reservations online or in your My Disney Experience Mobile App.

While you're visiting EPCOT, you won't want to miss out on all of the other holiday fun included during the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.  My kids are super excited for the Cookie Stroll as they travel World Showcase and sample some yummy treats.  Meanwhile, my husband is a big fan of Living with the Land and can't wait to see the holiday overlay with all the twinkling lights after dark.  And for me?  My favorite way to spend the day is simply exploring all of the holiday traditions from around the world come to life as we travel throughout the park!

Denise, I hope this information is helpful and that you enjoy your visit during the merriest time of the year!  If you have any other questions while you're making your vacation planning list (and checking it twice!), please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!

    Cheers,
    Kristi
