I am going to Disney World for Thanksgiving; I have a family of 5, and we are trying to decide on a resort. Can you help me? By the way, the moml panel is great, I have gotten alot of good information!

Thanks Lisa! We are so glad we can help with your planning needs. Thanksgiving is an amazing time to visit Disney World. We have spent numerous Thanksgiving enjoying the World, and can't wait for our next visit.

If money is no object, my first suggestion is the Beach Club villas. There are a number of villa options that will accommodate your family of five comfortably. The Beach Club is one of our favorites because of its perfect location, within walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood Studios, and it is also adjacent to the Boardwalk resort area. The Boardwalk offers a number of evening entertainment options, including restaurants, bars and live entertainment. The Beach Club also has the best resort pool area at Disney World, Stormalong Bay. This white sand bottom pool offers a kiddie area, hot tubs, whirlpool, lazy river, water slide, and more-way cool!

If you are looking for a more moderate option, the Fort Wilderness Cabins sleep up to six and offer a bedroom with full bed and bunk beds and a living room with murphy bed. The cabin has a full kitchen and an attached deck with grill. The campground area is beautiful and peaceful and the list of amenities is long. Your family can enjoy swimming, archery, horseback riding, nightly campfires and movies and much more.

Another great option for your family is the All Star Music family suites. The suites have a bedroom with a queen bed, a pullout sofa bed in the living room and two convertible chair/ottoman for smaller children,. The suite has a small kitchenette area with a refrigerator but no stove and two full bathrooms.

You can find additional information about DIsney World resort choices and prices for your family size here. Any property you select will offer your family all the amazing Disney resort bonuses like free transportation on property, package delivery and Extra Magic hours. Hope you have a magical trip!
