    We will be in Disney World for the Super Bowl in February celebrating my son's 8th birthday! We are staying at Coronado Springs and plan to visit the Magic Kingdom that day. Is there a fun place to watch the game other than sitting in our hotel room?

    Hi Nicole!  How exciting to be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort for an 8th birthday celebration. Make sure you pick up a birthday button from your resort as you check in, you will be amazed how many people will stop to wish your son a magical day!   If your family is anything like mine you will not want to miss a football game, especially one as big as the Super Bowl.  

     The ESPN Club located at  Disney's Boardwalk complex will allow you to  watch the big game on one of over 100 video monitors located throughout the establishment.  ESPN Club does tend to fill up fast, so arrive early on game day.   You can also try to make a reservation by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463 up to 180 days in advance. 

    I would encourage you to inquire about any special activities going on for the Super Bowl as you check into your resort.  Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, it is a great place to look for special event announcements.
