I will be going to Disney World over spring break with my daughter's high school band - I am hoping to be able to carry a 22L backpack to carry essentials - will I be able to take one that big on the rides with me?

    Hi Anmarie,

A backpack or tote bag is an essential for a day in the Walt Disney World theme parks for my family! We bring along a cache of snacks, rain ponchos, water bottles, jackets and other basic needs.

The official Walt Disney World list of restricted personal items calls for totes or backpacks to be no larger than 24 inches long, 15 inches wide and 18 inches tall. This assures that the bags will fit safely with you on rides and attractions. I also recommend packing your bag as lightly as you can for your comfort. Plus, you never know when you'll see a souvenir you just can't resist.

Thanks for dropping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Anmarie. Please let us know if you have any other questions as you prepare for your trip with your daughter's band. Enjoy!
