Hi again, Linda!
Thanks for coming back for more planDisney fun. I hope my last answer helped you get things sorted for your upcoming trip.
Current Disability Access Service (DAS) policy states that the maximum party size is the eligible guest and up to three additional party members, for a total of 4. When these program changes were first announced, many of my fellow panelists inquired about larger groups of immediate family members. For instance, are there any exceptions if a guest and their partner have three children? We were told that each situation is handled on a case-by-case basis, and unfortunately, there are no standard exceptions to share.
You'll need to speak with the Cast Member during your Virtual Chat, to see if any adjustments can be made. They may be able to suggest
alternate accommodations to better suit your party, such as
Rider Switch or Attraction Queue Re-Entry.
As you prepare for your December visit, I recommend reviewing the
Sensory Experience Details as well as the
Accessibility Planning Guide & Recommendations. This will help give you a clearer picture of the experiences and accommodations available to assist your group.
Linda, please come back and see us again with more planning questions! We're always glad to share what we've learned to help you have a most magical vacation!
Magic and memories,
Amy
