I will be at disney world in Sept during Mickeys not so-scary halloween party and was wondering if it would be worth it to attend if I already have dinner reservations at Ohana the same night. Or could we go to the party leave for dinner and go back after

    Hi Lindsey,

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel again with another question! Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite special events to attend at Walt Disney World. Guests are welcome to leave and return to the party although most do not because there is so much fun to experience during the event. The first time out family attended Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party we made dinner reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table. While this was a convenient location for dinner, my wife and I felt like we missed out on a lot at the party and choosing Character Dining was not the best idea.

All that being said, if you have early dinner reservations at 'Ohana and/or are able to enter the Magic Kingdom early (guests have been allowed early entry at 4:00 p.m. in the past, but this is not guaranteed) then attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in the same night would work. It all depends on how much of the party you want to see. Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade and Happy HalloWishes fireworks display are two of the most popular eerie entertainment specials during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties. Please let me know if I can help you with any further questions as you plan your Walt Disney World vacation.

    Have a magical day!
