Welcome to planDisney, Marcus! I’m so happy you’re here, and I love that you’re already looking ahead to 2027 because it’s shaping up to be an incredible year at Walt Disney World Resort. One of the most exciting additions coming is
Tropical Americas, a brand-new 11-acre area that will be lush, colorful, and full of immersive details inspired by the cultures and landscapes of the region.
This land will be home to a stunning hacienda-style quick-service restaurant, which is expected to be one of the largest at Walt Disney World and a destination all on its own. You’ll also be able to experience two major attractions themed to Indiana Jones and Encanto, bringing adventure and heart to the area in two very different ways. At the center of it all will be a beautiful fountain, along with a handcrafted carousel featuring animals inspired by Disney stories. It’s a reimagined take on a classic ride that young families are going to absolutely adore.
While booking for 2027 isn’t available just yet, past trends can give us a helpful idea of what to expect. When 2026 reservations opened in April 2025, Guests were able to book travel dates through October 31, 2026, with November and December opening later that same year.
Your best plan is to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog, since announcements are usually shared there first. The
Disney Parks Instagram account and the official Walt Disney World website are also great places to watch for updates.
While you’re waiting for booking dates to open, this is the perfect time to start dreaming and planning by finding a
Disney Resort that feels like your home away from home and checking out some
dining spots you might want to try.
Marcus, I hope this helped and that you’ll soon be putting plans together for a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney!
A Dream is a Wish your Heart Makes,
Kami
