Does Disney world still have the "Princess for day" where a child is chose to ride in the parade? Or is this a rumor?

    Hi Amanda,

I have never heard of something specifically called "Princess for a Day."

However, there are many opportunities for guests to be singled out for special attention at Walt Disney World. On most days, a family is randomly chosen to help open the Magic Kingdom. Several years ago, my oldest daughter was pulled out of the crowd and got to ride on Dumbo with Minnie Mouse. We were then escorted into Toontown and given some wonderful photographs. This was a totally random happening. There's not much you can do to influence things like this.

For more information on this topic, you may want to head over to the independent website Search there for an article called "Getting Your 15 Minutes of Fame at Walt Disney World." You may get some ideas there for ways to get special perks in the parks.

    Good luck!
