Howdy Doris! I love it when a fellow Texan stops by planDisney with a question for us!
Welcome!
I’m thrilled to hEAR you’re thinking about taking a trip to
Disneyland Resort, also known as The Happiest Place on Earth! With the all-new
Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure Park now open, my family has been wanting to visit the parks in California, as well!
Doris, because Disneyland Resort in California and
Walt Disney World Resort in Florida are both different locations using different systems, you would not be able to use your
Walt Disney World theme park ticket at Disneyland Resort.
I’m happy to tell you that unused Walt Disney World Resort tickets hold their monetary value indefinitely. You would be able to apply the value of that ticket towards the purchase of a new one at Walt Disney World Resort. Be sure to hold on to the confirmation number or physical ticket because you’ll need it when applying the value of it to a future ticket. Do keep in mind if the prices for tickets increase, you would have to pay the difference.
I hope you’re planning on returning to Walt Disney World Resort, also known as The Most Magical Place on Earth! This yEAR will be the beginning of
The Most Magical Celebration as we celebrate its 50th anniversary!
We can’t wait to welcome you to the magic, Doris!
Aena
