    We are going to Disney World in Orlando FL in April 2016 and while we are there my son is turning 6. His actual birthday. Is there anything special the park will do for him? It will also be his first time along with some of our guests first time!

    Hi Amy! How exciting for your son to be celebrating his birthday at Walt Disney World! It will make a magical vacation even more special! When you check in to your resort, be sure to ask the cast member for a Happy Birthday! button for your son to wear! He'll love it when cast members wish him happy birthday all day! These can also be obtained at any theme park Guest Services.

    If you're staying at a Disney resort, you can order a magical in-room celebration for him. Or perhaps a special personalized birthday cake to have after dinner. Be sure to give 72 hours advance notice and call the cake hotline at (407) 827-2253. This special treat is available at most table-service restaurants.
