We are going to be in Disney World, when our oldest daughter turns 16, when do we tell them, that it's her birthday, and what kind of stuff does she get?

    Hi Dorothea,

The magic is different at every location so the surprises vary.

You can inform the Castmember taking your reservation that is your daughter's birthday when you book your room.  When you check in, remind the Castmember and they can arrange to have a special phone call to your room.

Also, when you book your Advance Dining Reservation, you can mention it then as well.  At the restaurants, we generally remind our server we are celebrating a birthday.  My daughters have received cards from characters and special cupcakes.

You can also go to Main Street in Magic Kingdom and get a button that says "Its My Birthday" and it will generate some magic.

    Have a great day!
