    Hi, we will be at Disney World in October and staying at the Shades of Green. We plan on going to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Are we eligible to purchase tickets on May 12th or do we have to wait until May 18th. Thanks, Kevin

    Welcome to planDisney, Kevin!

    We were all very excited today to hear the spooktacular news that Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be returning this fall!  This event takes place on select nights from August 12 through October 31 from 7:00 pm until midnight.  The fan-favorite Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade, complete with an appearance by The Headless Horseman will be back, along with Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks.  There are so many fun activities and entertainment during this event, with trick-or-treating, of course! 

    Tickets for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be available for Guests of Disney Resorts Collection hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green beginning May 12.  All other Guests may purchase tickets beginning May 18.

    One thing that is helpful to know is that theme park reservations will not be required to attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.  If you plan to visit a theme park earlier in the day prior to attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you will need a ticket and a Disney Park Pass reservation for that park.
