Hello Jacqueline! Welcome back to planDisney, and thank you for your question. It's a treat to help you plan a multigenerational trip!
Regarding your 2-day tickets for your son's family, here’s how
Walt Disney World's ticketing policy works: unfortunately the monetary value of those tickets cannot be applied toward an Annual Pass renewal. If they need to cancel before using them, they can apply their value towards a future ticket at the original purchase price; should ticket prices increase by the time you rebook, you would simply cover the difference. Modifications can usually be made in your
My Disney Experience app under the "My Tickets & Passes" tab. However, if you have further questions, you can always
contact a Ticketing Agent who can help address any concerns about your specific situation.
Your
Annual Pass remains loaded with perks, including discounts on dining, merchandise, and savings on select special events (think
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party). You can also apply your Passholder discount to experiences like miniature golf or guided fishing excursions, which might appeal to your grandsons. And when it’s time to renew, you’ll enjoy up to 15% off your next Annual Pass.
Jacqueline, I hope that clarifies the policy for you! If any other questions come up, such as ticketing details, dining recommendations, Lightning Lane planning, or the best spot for a Mickey bar, just let me know. Have a wonderful, magical November at Walt Disney World!
Warmly,
Eean
