Hi, Amanda! No stressing, and we'll do our best to make this the best trip possible!
First, you need to make some decisions. Do you all want to stay together? You can choose to be in the same resort, or you can opt for different resorts, based on budget or preferences. There are even villas for larger groups, with a Disney Vacation Club Grand Villa accommodating up to 12 guests in the same unit!
What type of tickets are you going to need? Do you think you'll be park hopping? How many days will you want to visit the theme parks? Are you going to want to add water parks as well? That's another decision you'll want to make.
Adding the dining plan can really help with bigger groups if you plan on eating some of your meals together. For the purposes of budgeting, some families love not having to worry about out of pocket money for dinners and stuff, so paying it in advance with the dining plan really helps.
I also want you to check out
Disney Group Getaways. Your group may qualify for some special behind the scenes tours or events that will help make your trip even more special. They handle family reunions and groups, and can let you know what your group may be able to participate in.
There are lots of special events great for everyone, like Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage, or even the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert party. But let's get the big things nailed down, and we'll help you with the rest!
