How exciting that you're headed back to The Most Magical Place on Earth! If you're anything like me, you were probably planning your next
Walt Disney World Resort vacation before the last one was even over. There's just nothing quite like leaving today and entering the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy.
While there are so many ways to access the magic of Walt Disney World Resort, it sounds like you used a Key to the World Card during your most recent vacation. These plastic cards typically feature the familiar face of a beloved Disney character, and once linked to a My Disney Experience account, can be used to enter your Disney Resort hotel room as well as Walt Disney World's theme parks.
If you still have the Key to the World Card from your last visit, Samantha, I just verified with a helpful Cast Member that
you can indeed use it during your upcoming vacation. Because these cards remain linked to your My Disney Experience account, you can conveniently verify its current activation status by logging into your account and selecting 'My MagicBands & Cards' from the dropdown menu. From there, you'll scroll to 'Manage MagicBands or Cards' and click on the triangle to see a list of the MagicBands or Cards currently linked to your account. If you don't see your Card listed there or can't access your account,
Hakuna Matata, you can easily request a new one at the Front Desk of your Disney Resort hotel upon check-in.
While you are more than welcome to use a Key to the World Card during your visit, did you know that
Disney MagicMobile service will enable your phone to serve as a digital 'Key to the World' allowing you to enter the theme parks, link Disney PhotoPass images, check-in to Lightning Lane entrances, and charge purchases? Just like magic!
