    We will be at Disney World MK the first weekend of December 2012. I have heard the Christmas parade might be filmed that weekend. Do we have to buy additional tickets? When are details announce? Is there somewhere I can check often for announcements?

    Hi Kristin!

    Congratulations on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World! The Christmas Parade Taping is typically the first weekend in December, but that date can vary depending upon a variety of circumstances, weather included. You don't have to buy additional tickets for the parade. Disney doesn't release official information regarding the Christmas Parade taping, since the dates could change and they don't want anyone to be disappointed if they happen to plan their vacation around the Christmas Parade Taping, but I recommend that you check out one of the "unofficial" Disney sites, such as Passporters or Dis Boards. They may be able to provide you with information leading up to the event.
