We are going to Disney World in March and everyone has magicbands that we love. In the past, there was a way to decline new ones. I don't see that option anymore. Is there a way to decline magicbands that we won't be using?

    Hi James,

I'm thrilled to hear that you'll be returning to the Walt Disney World Resort early next year! You're going to find the same kind of magic and fun that you enjoyed during your last visit, but will also find some wonderful new discoveries to enjoy like Epcot Forever, Disney Skyliner, and depending on when your last trip was, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge! You're going to have a BLAST!

The great news is that MagicBands are reusable as long as their batteries still work, so you may definitely feel free to bring your current ones on your next trip. You'll just want to make sure they're marked as "Active" within your My Disney Experience account. If you'd like to order another set of MagicBands so that you can change them out each day based on your outfit or current Disney mood, definitely feel free to do so! If you'd rather just wear the ones you love, and not worry about managing more than one, I'm happy to let you know that you'll be able to decline new MagicBands during the online check-in process. There's a spot where it will ask if you already have MagicBands, and you'll have the option to click "I wish to decline new MagicBands for my party." Whatever you choose to do, I hope you enjoy your stylish and helpful MagicBands!

Thanks so much for visiting us as the Disney Parks Moms Panel, James, and please feel free to visit us again with any other questions you may have as you're planning your trip. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
