We will be in Disney World March 2016 . Our daughter will celebrate her 18th birthday while we are there. What can you suggest that would be cool for an 18th birthday celebration? pleaces to eat special things to do etc.

  • Hey Susan!

Your family has picked a practically perfect place to celebrate your daughter's 18th birthday. My fellow 'Moms' and I are so excited to help you plan the MAGICAL day!

Let's start at the beginning, shall we? You can't celebrate all day if you don't start early and I can't think of a better way to start her big day then with a character meal. Whether your daughter is a fan of classic Disney, princesses or a cuddly bear named Pooh, there are character breakfasts which will get your day started with a bang.

If your daughter would like to dine in royal style I suggest Cinderella's Royal Table at the Magic Kingdom, where Cinderella will even greet you before your meal, or Epcot's Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in the Norway Pavilion of the World Showcase. Also, at the Magic Kingdom, nothing will start your day better then a hug from Winnie the Pooh and his pals at the Crystal Palace. If you daughter is a fan of the Mickey, Minnie and their pals, you can take the short walk from the Magic Kingdom to Disney's Contemporary Resort to dine at Chef Mickey's.

Before your trip, don't forget to stop at your local party/card store and get an oversized birthday card for all the characters to sign. This will be a great keepsake for years to come!

Now that you have had a great breakfast I will turn it over to some of the other Moms who I know have some more great ideas to keep the celebration going throughout the day!

Wishing you a *MAGICAL* vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
