We are going to Disney World in late August. I've lost weight, and can't eat the same amount anymore. Unfortunately, I have a problem with leaving food on my plate. Do restaurants give half portions? I don't want to be too full at Disney!

    Heigh-Ho Karin,

Welcome to planDisney, I hope this finds you are having a Magical Day especially because you are one day closer to your Walt Disney World vacation.

Walt Disney World definitely provides Guests with an array of flavors to satisfy the rumbly in your tumbly and making good choices is possible. Planning is key and menu selections are provided, for the Walt Disney World Restaurants, on their home page. While portion sizes can be generous Guests have the option to share their entree with others, ask for a to-go box, and if at a table service restaurant, ask that half of your meal be boxed for later. The majority of restaurants do not have the option to order a half portion. Be confident in your success and allow yourself rewards and treats while you are on vacation. Maybe, before leaving, have a menu planned to get you back on track when you arrive home. And trust me with the amount of walking you will do at Walt Disney World, which is thousandsssssssss of steps, try not to overthink what is on your plate.

Have a magical and memorable vacation and check out our Instagram (@planDisneypanel) and Panel Extras for more vacation planning tips.

    See You Real Soon,
