I am going to Disney World on June 7th. And I am stating at Disney Caribbean Resort. I know is so big that some time it takes 45 minutes to get to the parks. It's that right? Do you know which is the first stop the bus make in the resort? Thanks you.

    Humberto,

Yes, at times the bus transportation can take a while to get you from point A to point B. Disney suggests as much as an hour to get between destinations, as many resort guests will go from their resort to another Disney resort to visit a particular restaurant. To do this you take a bus to Downtown Disney, then transfer to another bus to get to that destination resort. Between waiting times and in-route times, an hour is often needed.

But how long does it take to get directly to each park? Luckily for you, Caribbean Beach is centrally located. Bus times, once you have left the resort area, range from 15 to 25 minutes, with only the Animal Kingdom really being on the high end of that time.

Pertaining to the order that a bus will visit stops within Caribbean Beach Resort, that can vary. But as a rule they go clockwise, entering by the Custom House, starting at the Martinique area, then proceeding around until their last stop in Barbados before heading back out to their next destination. On occasion I have been on a bus that follows the same clockwise rotation, but starts in Jamaica and ends at Trinidad South, but only a few times.

Regardless of bus routes, I always like to be close to Old Port Royale Centertown. That is where the bulk of the resort amenities are located, and we just like being near 'the action'!

    Have a magical vacation!
