I am going to Disney World in June. The resort I want to stay in is full. Do rooms ever open up or should I just book a room at another room and forget about it?

    Sherrie,

Yes, rooms can open up, but I have not seen that happen often. I would recommend you go ahead and make a reservation somewhere else, and check periodically to see if availability has changed. Typically you should not have to pay more than the rate difference for such a switch. It is more about when you change packages that a reservation alteration comes with more difficulty.

BOTTOM LINE: June is a busy time at Walt Disney World. You want to get a room now, and worry later about trying to get moved to your first choice resort.

    Have a magical vacation!
