I am going to Disney World June 12-16. We have Disney Dining but I am not sure exactly how it works. Also how do you make reservations when you aren't sure where you will be at what time? I would appreciate any advice. Thanks

    Hi Shelley,

The Disney Dining Plan is fairly simple. Depending on if you have the Basic or the Deluxe, you have prepaid for a number of meals and snacks per day per person for each day you are at the Walt Disney World Resorts.

The Basic Plan entitles you to 1 counter service meal (think McDonalds), 1 table service meal (sit down with server) and snack a day. The Deluxe Plan entitles you to 3 meals a day at your choice of counter service or sit down for each meal and two snacks.

I recommend you plan your touring days now and determine which park you will visit each day. From here, determine where you want to eat at least one sit down meal whether it is in the park or at a resort nearby. My family always plans a sit down dinner meal everyday. This allows us to take a needed break and get a little pampering.

To make Advance Dining Reservations, call 407-WDW-DINE. To look at menus of restaurants, visit Allearsnet.com for a complete list of menus.

I hope this helps and have fun!
