Hi there, Shelby,
We are glad to see you here at planDisney! You must be counting down the days till your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. I’m glad you are planning ahead and thinking about the things to “
Know Before You Go.”
There is a wide variety of items that are permitted in the
Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. Some that are notable are
water bottles (as long as they are not glass), outside food and nonalcoholic beverage for self-consumption (again, no glass except baby food type containers), backpacks and other bags smaller than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. I recommend that you check out the list of prohibited items on the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules to get a better idea of items that might be permitted.
Shelby, remember that to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all Guests, all persons, bags, parcels, clothing and other items may be subject to
screening/security checks at the theme park entrances,
Disney Springs and security kiosks at the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels. If you have any questions about items you are bringing into the theme parks, inform a Security Cast Member when you enter the park.
Park rules are regularly updated to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience at Walt Disney World Resort, so if you have questions about a specific item,
please write me back and I’ll be happy to research it for you and let you know!
I hope this information is helpful and that you have a wonderful visit. If you have any other questions or would like some of our best tips for a magical vacation stop back by. We are here to help!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
