I am going to Disney World in July for the First time and I am taking my 1 year old son with me to celebrate his 2nd Birthday but I dont know what park to take him too considering that he is so small Can someone give me any suggetions.

    Clarissa,

Easy answer. Hands down, no question, the Magic Kingdom. It is packed with a lot of age-appropriate fun, and if he has ANY idea who Mickey Mouse is, you are set!

I would suggest that some of the highlights for him would be to visit Toontown in the back of the park. This really makes Mickey and the gang come to life for any kid. They go from thinking of them as characters on the television into living, breathing personalities. It is magical to watch this perception take hold in your child's eyes.

The rest of the park is great because interspersed with the occasional thrill ride is a bevy of attractions and entertainment that your son will love.

If you have any follow-up questions, I would be glad to offer you more detailed suggestions. As the parent of a 3 and a 1 year old, I know it can be a bit daunting to know what to do. Just go to my bio page to ask.

    Have a magical vacation!
