We are going to Disney World in January with our son who will be 10 months old at that point. Do children that age enjoy shows like Beauty and the Beast, the Indiana Jones stunt show, etc.? Will it be fun or will he hate sitting still?

    Hi Meagan,

Every child is different and really you are the best gauge if he will sit or not. My nephew was about 10 months when we went to the Walt Disney World Resorts. He was fine sitting through both shows. Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular is always moving which kept him entertained. Beauty & the Beast is a small Broadway production with signing and dancing so again he was fine.

You can always take a seat towards the back of theater or on an aisle in case you need to exit. A Disney cast member can help you out of the theater if needed.

One other thing to consider is the dark. While I would not recommend Stitch's Great Escape, some rides like Peter Pan's Flight, the Adventures of Winnie the Pooh or Pirates of the Caribbean are dark and may be scary. Remember as long as there is no height restriction, he is able to go on any attraction. We took my nephew on all the rides we did provided there were no height restrictions.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
