Hi. We have a Disney World holiday booked for 14 nights, starting Wednesday 6th August, staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Will the Disney app know that we have a booking and allow as to book dining 60 + days in advance? We’re getting near that window.

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Tim! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney. Thank you so much for bringing us your question!

When booking your magical Walt Disney World vacation, you had to create a My Disney account in order to continue with the process, and everything regarding your reservation will be automatically linked to that account. On that note, let's make sure that your My Disney Experience mobile app is ready for your booking window!

Tim, once you've downloaded the app, simply log into your My Disney account. Now, click on the three lines at the bottom right corner of the screen and head to the "Future Plans" section. You should be able to see your Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation right here! If you do, you have nothing to worry about, because the app will have everything it needs to know in order to open up your booking window exactly 60 days before your check-in day.

I'm so excited for you, Tim! Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge holds many fond memories for me, and I'm sure you'll love it just as much as I do. Don't forget to spend some time exploring the hotel when you're not busy exploring the Theme Parks. You're going to love looking at all the animals! I hope this helps, my friend. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We're always available and more than happy to help here at planDisney!

    Warm hugs,
