We are going to Disney World in February. We are staying at Fort Wilderness Campground and have reservations for Chef Mickey's. Is there direct water transportation to Contemporary Resort and if so what time do they start. Reservations are for 9:15

    Hi Denis,

You're really going to enjoy The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort! It's so peaceful there, yet still has that touch of Disney magic! Plus, you'll find all sorts of recreational activities available. My family loves visiting the Tri-Circle-D Ranch to see the beautiful ponies and horses who call the Walt Disney World Resort home.

I'm happy to let you know that yes, there is a boat that you can take to travel to Disney's Contemporary Resort for your breakfast at Chef Mickey's. You'll want to look for the blue flag launch, which will have two boats that circle in opposite directions between Disney's Wilderness Lodge, The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, and Disney's Contemporary Resort. All boats begin operating approximately 30 minutes before the theme parks open, so I'd definitely encourage you to be ready and waiting for that first boat of the morning to make sure that you make it to your delicious and fun breakfast in time! It's going to be a napkin swingin' GREAT time!

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Denis, and let us know if there's anything else we can do to help as you plan for your trip. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
