    We will be at Disney World on Easter Sunday, 4/8/12. Will there be any place to attend a Roman Catholic mass on Disney property that day?

    Hi Debra,

    There are no regularly scheduled church services on Disney property. However, historically Disney has offered both Catholic and Protestant masses on Christmas and Easter. These have typically been held in one of the ballrooms at the Contemporary hotel. I have not heard any word yet on whether this will again be scheduled for 2012, but my educated guess is that this will occur. My suggestion is to call your resort about two weeks before your trip to confirm.

    If Disney does not decide to hold services on Easter, there is a nearby congregation that is very welcoming of Disney guests. This is the Mary, Queen of the Universe Catholic Shrine. Complete information about their services can be found at maryqueenoftheuniverse.org. Your resort will be able to provide you with transportation suggestions.
