going to Disney World in early June. I know there used to be a way to look at the hours for each park and then Disney updated their website. Is there a way to see the park hours (specifically the extra magic hours) a week earlier than you can book dining

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mark! Thanks so much for stopping by with your question about the Interactive Parks Calendar! It’s a great tool that I use every time I plan a visit with my family.

The easiest way to find theme park hours is typing the word “Calendar” in the search bar on the official Walt Disney World Resort site. Go to “Theme Parks: Frequently Asked Questions” and you will find a blue link that will take you to the Interactive Parks Calendar. Or you can follow this link that will take you right to it.

This is a great resource because you can select all of the theme parks and water parks you’d like to view. You will also get an idea of what the Extra Magic Hours will be during the dates of your trip because they will be listed. Generally, you will be able to see the calendar hours for all of the theme and water parks six months in advance. This works out perfectly because the 180-day window for dining reservations opens up at the same time, so you can make all of your family’s reservations around those extra magical hours.

Mark, Extra Magic Hours are my favorite benefit of being a Disney Resort hotel guest! I love having that extra time in the parks to explore and enjoy the attractions. You will also want to check out the many amenities available to you at your resort like Movies Under the Stars and campfires. My kids love these activities!

I hope this information is helpful to you as you continue to plan your next magical stay. Feel free to come back to see us with any additional questions you might have. Helping you with all the details of your next visit is our pleasure!
